During my long years in university as a mechanical engineering student in Colombia I had the opportunity to discover that traveling around the world with my camera would play an important role in my life. After returning from my first backpacking trip I realized that some of the most important things in life cannot be taught, they must be lived. From that point on, I became a backpacker.

Photography appeared in my childhood through a 20 year old camera I found in my house, but thanks to my trips it has turned into one of my greatest passions. It has been a way of making friends on the road, learning from the people and the places I go, and more important a way of sharing all these experiences with the people I know.

In this website you will find a collection of some of my favorite pictures taken during these trips. Most of the trips were done during university holiday's, trying to take my mind away from excessive differential equations and mechanical analyses.
